Unfortunately, when I created this site, I didn’t realize that my use of ‘LEGO’ in the URL was in violation of TLG’s Fair Play policy, so I created radicalBricks in its place. It’s a whole new site with a new look.
The AT-ST’s always been one of my favorites. The overall design is just awesome. Building mine, I went with my usual sizing, with emphasis on high amount of detail and low amount of studs. The most challenging part of the build was, probably as expected, getting the model to stand on its own two feet. It does – and with full articulation.
The normal, ’round yellow circle’-faced versions of these are quite popular, but just not good enough for me. I LEGO-fied them:
These and my other set of emoticons are on the Emoticon Page.
Finally made a sci-fi military vehicle I’m happy with. I designed the whole thing around an eight-wheeled variant of Legohaulic’s Steering Technique. A gear assembly allows the model to be steered by turning the turret.
I always liked 5-wide vehicles, I loved the Army Men from Toy Story, and the frame I had sitting on my table with Legohaulic’s Steering Technique was pure fun to play with. This mod of 7595 is only the logical result.
